Hej!

First day of snow in Salzburg ... but beside this weather's very horrible at the moment.

Just wanted to let you know that I got over and done with my first practical course in chemistry.
And: I've passed the big exam in physics, wherefor I've studied for weeks during my "summer holiday"! That's great!!
:)

I'm very fine at the moment. I enjoy being single, I go out and I finally enjoy the time outside of university in Salzburg.

Have a great week!

What goes on here besides university things ...

Thu Aug 13, 2009, 12:04 PM
Because I had written nothing since April, now a few words. ;)

I've passen the big exam in chemistry! :)
If everything goes well, I can participate in the practical course which starts in autumn. When university starts again, first I first have to resit the exam in physics. This will be very exhausting, because there's a sticky lecture note to pound into.

I've also already been in the "Hundertwassertherme" in Bad Blumau and it was a wonderful holiday. I also had fun at the "Kaltenbach Open Air 2009", although the weather was horrible almost half of the time and we quitted on Saturday. But: Dark Tranquillity on Friday was simply amazing!!
Tomorrow I'll start for the "Next Generation Open Air" in Styria. Hopefully the weather keeps up.

I also have finished my two bachelor thesis. The subjects are: "TBMN" (thin basement membrane nephropathy) and "Effects of omega-3 fatty acids, especially considering their impact on blood coagulation".

Furthermore I've spent a wonderful day with my dad and the motorcycle on the way to the Großglockner.

So, we'll see what the next term brings ...

Wish me good luck for all exams! :)

Sun is rising at the moment and I'm getting ready for university.
I have a practical course which starts at 9 o'clock a.m. and a lecture which starts at 11 o'clock a.m.

Hera, my chameleon, now lives in her new terrarium at my home.

University is very very stressful at the moment and there seems to be no end ...
:(

But to a few things now I'm really looking forward:
First of all to a few days in Tyrol. On Wednesday I'll visit my dear friend Sonja and I think we'll go shopping a little bit. ;)
Then I'll celebrate my bofriends birthday. He also stays in Tyrol for a few weeks because he is doing an internship for his university of applied science (unsually called 'FH' in Austria).

The second one: I'm looking forward to summer holiday (although I have to study in my "long vacation") ... Not because I'm tired of going to university ... just because I need a break for relaxing and I want to take more time for myself ... for reading, napping, for going to Innsbruck and maybe again to Vienna with my dear friend Martina and so on ...

Sorry for writing nothing in the last few weeks.
University life is stressful at the moment and I think this term I will have a great deal to do.

In short: The few days in Vienna with Martina were simply great, we had a lot of fun ... and finally I saw the federal museum of pathology and anatomy in the famous "Narrenturm". :) Very interesting and ... it makes me think a little bit of my time in Innsbruck ... :(

University started not very good in October, because I failed the exam in physics, although I've studied for nearly four weeks. But I hope that I'll pass it next time.

My (and my boyfriends) personal zoo is growing: Altogether we have now three Pogona vitticeps (bearded dragons), two Chamaeleo calyptratus (chameleons), Phyllium sp. (walking leaves), three mantids (one Phyllocrania paradoxa and two Hierodula membranacea) and a "Nano Cube" with Neocaridina heteropoda var. "red", Caridina cf. cantonensis "tiger" and Neocaridina cf. zhangjiajiensis var. "white" ("freshwater shrimps"), Planorbarius corneus (a water snail) and Boraras merah (small fishes).
I think that's all ... ;)

And for people who are interested in terraristics and phasmids: Check out this nice german web forum --> [link]

Good morning everybody!

Weather's very rainy today.
Yesterday Martina and I booked our room in Vienna for three nights. We'll stay in an Etap hotel, which is very cheap and we'll also have breakfast there. The rooms are rather small, but everything wherewithal is in there. They also have a shower, toilet and washbowl. But it's a pity that the washbasin is IN our sleep room instead of a seperate room. Anyway it's a cheap accomodation and I think we'll basically be "outside" strolling around in the city, visiting some museums and sights. :)

Have a nice day!
